About Jeff Astore

Born and raised in Pittsfield, I’ve always been proud to call the Berkshires my home. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, I knew I wanted to return to my roots and build a career right here.

The Berkshires offer more than just breathtaking scenery and four beautiful seasons—they represent community, connection, and quality of life. Whether it’s kayaking on the lakes, hiking the local trails, enjoying a live performance, or supporting our small businesses, I feel incredibly fortunate to live in such a vibrant and enriching environment. 

Family has always been at the heart of my life. With loved ones still in the area, our family dinners are a cherished tradition filled with laughter and warmth. I’m also a proud father of two amazing sons—my eldest recently graduated from Virginia Tech, and my youngest is currently pursuing his degree at LSU.

Professionally, I bring over 30 years of customer service experience across a range of industries, including manufacturing, insurance, health care, and the Department of Defense. I’m known for my energetic and organized approach, as well as my calm, approachable style. I pride myself on being an active listener who understands and addresses concerns thoughtfully and thoroughly. Giving back to the community that shaped me is a core value. I’ve served on committees for The United Way and Relay for Life, delivered Meals on Wheels for several years, and supported numerous local fundraisers. I'm also honored to contribute to the Astore/Soules scholarship at our local high school. Relationship building is not just my passion—it’s the foundation of everything I do.
